Media storage per brand

Keep each brand's images and files in its own bucket: Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, any S3 compatible store or the server disk.

By default every brand stores media on the shared ATLAS disk. When a brand needs its files in its own account, for billing, data location or an existing CDN, an admin can point it at its own storage.

Supported targets

  • Amazon S3
  • Cloudflare R2
  • Backblaze B2
  • Any other S3 compatible store, with a custom endpoint
  • The local server disk

Set it up

  1. Create a bucket and an access key that can write to it.
  2. In the dashboard, open the brand's media storage settings and choose the provider.
  3. Enter the endpoint, region, bucket and keys, then run Test. ATLAS writes and removes a tiny probe file to prove it can write, without saving anything yet.
  4. Save. New uploads go to the new storage.

Nothing breaks when you switch

Switching provider does not move or delete existing files. Earlier uploads stay where they were and keep working, and new ones go to the new place.

The access keys are write only: the settings screen shows whether credentials are set, never the keys themselves.
